Etoile du Berger, in 2021 has expanded its structure thanks to another building, always dating from the Seventeenth century and restructured maintaining its Antan aesthetics.
Today the agritourism offer nine rooms and an apartment, giving different solutions in order to meet all requests.
In the first building there are five comfortable rooms, each one different and unique in size and furniture, all featuring an intimate atmosphere. Our five rooms named after animals living in our valley: chamois, ibex, marmot, squirrel and eagle.
In the second building there are four rooms and an apartment having a larger size in order to meet requests for a more spacious environment. The four rooms and the apartment named after flowers of our valley: bouton d’or, gentianella, violet, edelweiss and rhododendron.
Rooms are furnished with our characteristic valdostano style which harmonizes stone and wood. Most of the wood used embed history and tradition, because that’s the wood coming from the original building or from other buildings of the family.
Heads of beds representing cows, hearts and scenes of pastures have been carved by Anna and Liliano, who after recovering wood floorboards from the old shed renewed them. Some doors have been restored from the original building as well as boards of stairs have been recovered from the original building and doors of closets come from a house of Liliano’s godfather.
Furniture has been carefully selected by Anna and Liliano to make rooms more comfortable, by choosing high quality memory foam mattresses and hypoallergenic Aloe Vera thermosensitive and adaptable pillows because wellness is a priority for our guests. Bed-linen has been carefully searched and selected.
All rooms are provided with a private bathroom with hairdryer, TV and free wi-fi. Personal care products, edelweiss, genepy and fir bubble bath and violet and mallow intimate cleanser have been expressly developed and carried out for L’Etoile du Berger and they are fully natural and hypoallergenic.
