We think that pictures more than words are able to present us, our wonderful valley and our traditions which represent our roots.
That’s why we would like to share pictures of our family with you.
Our family is a tree with branches of different generations: we are Anna and Liliano, with our daughters Alice, Emilie and Sophie, our parents Pietro, Mario and Antonia and our aunt Adele. Let’s start to know us through pictures and we will have the pleasure to welcome you personally.
From late Spring until the beginning of October our cows and the production of cheese move to pastures in themiddle and high mountains
A few pictures of our cows from everyday life and during the traditional “Bataille des reines”
Event for the downhill slope of mountain pastures
The folk singing group was founded with the aim of preserving the unique and characteristic cultural heritage of the Cogne village… we are proud that Alice and Emilie are part of it!
Home bread is a tradition of our mountains which we hand on also in our family. Around the middle of December we prepare bread dough to have bread supplies for the whole long Winter. We prepare milk bread, with walnuts, rye and oat bread and also the gourmand Meculin, Cogne typical dessert.
Each season brings its own colours which paint extraordinary landscapes
